Bio Jay Stewart's passion for photography derived from his childhood. Capturing family, friends and most importantly memories through a lense, gave him a satisfaction that couldnt be rivaled. In 2007 Jay began work in London Zoo, Regents park for a photography company. Here he learned some of the most important lessons in people skills, approaching and interacting with clients and built up the confidence to persue a further career as an independant photographer. After his seasonal job at London Zoo came to an end, he moved on to another role which proved to be a stepping stone in his career. Working as a photographic sales assistant in Jessops enhanced his knowlege of the camera itself. Absorbing all the knowlege he could finally gave him all the tools he needed to lead him to his first studio shoot.Inspired by the likes of fellow photographer "Azza", Jay began to test shoot with upcoming models. After making friends and connections in the industry, Jay Stewart began to create a buzz around his name and bring in some major clients. Jay has been an established freelance photographer for four years now. Working at a host of events he has built up an eviable clientel base, shooting both in the UK and America. His portfolio reflects the progress he has made in such a short time, showcasing the diversity of his work as a fashion, beauty, children and events photographer. He has developed his own signature style which defines him as an artist and sets him apart from the crowd. But the essence of his childhood dream still remains; to capture a memory, a moment in time.
